About
Kim Rempel is a visual artist living in Grimsby, Ontario. She is both an abstract and landscape painter. Rempel has exhibited multiple times at the Toronto Artist Project and the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair. In 2024 she enjoyed a three week painting residency in British Columbia. She is a graduate of Sheridan College's Illustration program.
A note from the artist: While I began my career as a landscape artist, after some time I felt an additional pull to explore abstract painting. I took to it immediately and felt instantly at home. Since then I’ve continued to develop both disciplines in equal measure. For a time I perceived this duality as problematic but have come to realize it as a gift. It has allowed me to express and be true to my whole self.
